Planing your weekend can be a little bit intimidating, especially in a city that is constantly expanding. Whether you're looking for amazing DJs, cozy patios, nerdy cocktails or cheap cover Toronto probably has what you're looking for, even if you haven't found it yet!

Lucky for you, I've compiled a list of 10 unique bars that are new to the city.  So if you're looking to mix things up from your 3 bars you have on rotation, why not try one of these this weekend?

1. Locals Only // 589 King St W.

Local's only has an industrial style decor, giving it a super casual and playful atmosphere.  If you plan on visiting Locals Only get ready for awesome music, good drinks, and super friendly bartenders. P.S. They also have incredible selfie lighting in their bathrooms.

2. The Dime // 538 Queen St W.

The Dime recently opened on Queen St. West, and we are predicting that it will quickly become a Toronto hot spot.  If you're looking for somewhere to knock back drinks on an awesome patio, you've found your spot.

3. El Rey // 2a Kensington Ave.

If you like tequila, you'll love El Rey.  El Rey is owned by Grant van Gameren, who is also the owner of Bar Raval, and Bar Isabella.  Indulge in their tasty cocktails and mouthwatering Mexican food this weekend!

4. Good Game // 2097 Yonge St.

If you're a gamer, Good Game is your new local watering hole.  Good Game offers cocktails named after World Of Warcraft characters, and multiple gaming stations for you to enjoy.

5. Pray Tell // 838 College St.

Pray Tell is the sister snack and cocktail bar of Track and Field.  Pray Tell bar has a stylish interior, and extremely welcoming staff.  They specialize in wine, custom cocktails, and craft beer.

6. Clocktower Bar // 210 Yonge St.

Clocktower Bar is the first specialty cocktail bar from the Boxcar Social team.  If you have high cocktail standards, Clocktower Bar definitely won't disappoint.  They also have a super cozy patio which is always a plus.

7. Bar Begonia // 252 Dupont St.

Bar Begonia has a spacious outdoor patio perfect for a warm summers night.  The exterior of the building is also extremely unique, and features a litebrite-inspired smiley face sign. Their cocktails are as quirky as their decor, but extremely tasty!

8. Bar Reyna // 158 Cumberland St.

Bar Reyna has one of the cutest patios in the city.  If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy tasty cocktails and wonderful company, you've found your spot.  They also have a "7 @ 7" menu on weekdays (from 4pm to 7pm, 7 select menu items are listed as $7).

9. Good Fortune // 130 Eglington Ave E.

If you're looking to mix things up, head to Good Fortune.  They have an unconventional drink menu featuring boozy milkshakes, slushies and jell-o shots.

10. Idle // 1063 Bloor Street W.

Idle is a new edition to Bloor St. West.  This cozy bar offers $15 pitchers of sangria every Thursday, making it the perfect spot for celebrating thirsty Thursday!
