Once every summer, Toronto's streets are filled with colorful costumes and the music of the Caribbean. The Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival, better known as Caribana, is a festival of Caribbean culture and traditions. With our beautiful city bustling with different kinds of people, it is truly lovely to see people of all backgrounds come out to celebrate. This year Caribana weekend took place from Friday July 30th - Sunday August 2nd and was a weekend packed with parties all around the 6, the festival's parade on Saturday, and even Drake's 6th annual OVO fest to end off the long weekend.\nWhile many people are waking up with some terrible hangovers after a fun-filled weekend, it is important to have a few nice momentos of the 2015 festival. The following are a few great snaps from this past weekend to capture the beauty Caribana brings out in our city.\nToronto's police are NOT afraid to have some fun once in a while. Among them was a popular social media-ite by the name of Sam White. He is well known for rising up and speaking on various social injustices.
