You work hard at the gym, so you might as well eat food that tastes great and shows your gains.
Rawlicious focuses on simple dishes that are prepared with fresh, organic ingredients. The restaurant is located in The Junction, and has a relaxed, 'zen' vibe. The restaurant is adorned with super-comfy seating, great artwork, and a lovely backyard patio. The Nori Rolls are made using alfalfa sprouts instead of rice, and is stocked full of fresh veggies, avocado and marinated mushrooms.

Belmonte Raw's sole purpose is to revitalize, nourish, and energize your worn-out body. These colourful drinks are named after the specific function they perform, i.e. Detox, Drive, Boost, Strengthen, etc. Made with exotic ingredients like agave, valerian herb, oil of oregano, vitamin D, and Echinacea, these drinks will surely have you feeling great all day long.

The Kinka family currently owns a whopping 7 restaurants (including Guu Izakaya) in Toronto, so you could say they know what they're doing when it comes to food. Indian food may be one of the first things that comes to mind when you think of healthy eating. Annapurna embraces the authentic vegetarian side of South Indian cuisine. Not only is the food delicious and healthy, but the restaurant offers an immensely peaceful environment to eat in. They have a no-cellphone policy, and calming sitar music to help you unplug, relax, and enjoy some grub. I highly suggest the masala dosa and idli.
Though Cultures is a food chain, they still serve wholesome and delicious food to health-conscious customers. Their use of familiar ingredients makes it easy for you to skip the burger and eat a chicken wrap instead.

The Beet's yummy menu was designed by owners Michelle Vella and Heather Osler, a certified nutritionist and a homeopathic doctor. Not only do they thrive on organic food, their take-out boxes are also made from biodegradable packaging. They have everything: breakfast, burgers, kids menus, lactose-free options, you name it, they've got it!

If you've eaten poorly in the past few days, go to Camros Organic Eatery to recharge your system. Enjoy a glass of kale juice after a good workout or have a meal you know isn't going to mess with your gym gains, but doesn't lack in flavour.
