2017 is sure to bring about a lot of changes. While the Trump presidency may make some things in Canada's near future seem a little shaky, we can at least enjoy the fact that some provinces will experience a minimum wage increase next year.

Here are the minimum wage increases we can expect across various provinces and territories in Canada in 2017:

Saskatchewan
OCT 1 2016: $10.72

On October 1 of each year, the minimum wage increases based on the average of the percentage change in the CPI (Consumer Price Index) and the percentage change in average hourly wage for Saskatchewan in the previous year. The Cabinet must approve any increases in minimum wage.

On April 1 of each year, the minimum wage increases based on the percentage change in the projected annual CPI for Canada in the prior calendar year, rounded to the nearest $0.05.
