Toronto Now Has A New "Escape Game" Located Downtown
You can also flip tables.
Toronto is mecca for niche locales. We have a ton of places where you can drink while playing your favourite board games, and cat cafes sprinkled around the city. But "Ye Olde Dandy's" has now taken the cake for the weirdest, yet simultaneously awesome, place to go to in Toronto.
If you've ever wanted to be involved with a mystery adventure extravaganza, the you're in luck. Ye Olde Dandy's is all about escape games. Guests go into a room (with either people they know, or with strangers) and are forced to solve a series of puzzles in order to escape.
Ye Olde Dandy's varies from traditional escape rooms because they incorporate mystery and storytelling into the game. They describe it as "The story, the clues and the puzzles all compliment each other for a new twist on this exciting concept. Hints and clues can be provided, but team work is always necessary to complete the test."
AND, not only is this place a one of a kind escape game locale, but it's also a zone where you can flip tables. It's weird we know, but for only five dollars you can go in and fulfill a life long dream of flipping a table. If that's your kind of thing.
