The latest career calling your name is with Canadian Border Services.

According to the Government of Canada website, there are 10 different opportunities for you to submit your resume to the agency.

These career events are happening all over B.C. and Alberta and of course, we have all the info you need.

In chronological order, the first stop along the western Canada train is Victoria on February 6, at the University of Victoria.

After that, there will be events in Edmonton, New Westminster, Chilliwack, Cranbrook, Kamloops, and Prince George.

These events will all have different operation days with Chilliwack even getting three different career fairs.

Every hiring fair will be open from different times with booths typically running for several hours.

But just because each event runs a long time doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be speedy with handing in your resume and showing off your talent.

Be mindful that some of the B.C. dates are for women only while others are just for students.

The last career fair will be taking place at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George on March 11.

This event will only be open to university students which is great because it gives students potential for a head start in a new industry.

Along with western Canada stops, the hiring fair will also be taking place in Ontario

According to the CBSA website, anyone who is selected for recruitment will attend the CBSA College and receive full accommodations and meals.

There will also be a living allowance that will cover your basic needs.

We know you are curious about the salary, so we will just go ahead and tell you.

Trainee salaries start at about $64,000 per year and can go up to more than $71,000.

Once this training is out of the way, the annual salary can be bumped up to anywhere between $69,000 and $82,000.

We consider that a win.

If you have the desire to keep others safe, have an inquisitive mind, and look good in a uniform then this job may be for you.
