Canada Is Hiring For Thousands Of Positions This Summer & There Are Even Acting Gigs

It's time to get to work! The Canada Summer Jobs program has so many positions available right now across the country and they're pretty interesting. You could work as a camp counsellor, an actor, a tour guide and more.
With the school year coming to an end and summer on the way, employment is surely on the minds of a lot of students. Especially during this pandemic.
Filomena Tasi, Canada's Minister of Labour, posted on Twitter about the sheer amount of jobs that are available for students this season.
With Canada Summer Jobs, thousands of positions are available across the country right now in so many different fields.
The program is to help students between the ages of 15 and 30 find both part-time and full-time work while school is out for the summer.
Even though hiring started less than a month ago, there are already more than 32,000 positions posted in the job bank.
Tasi said that new ones are posted regularly so if you're looking for work but haven't found anything, don't worry.
Here are eight newly available positions posted in the job bank for the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Day Camp Counsellor
Salary: $11.65/hour
Company: Rainbow Riders
Why You Should Apply: In St. John's, Newfoundland, Rainbow Riders offers therapeutic riding and horsemanship programs for children with disabilities. There are two positions available, both for 17.5 hours of work per week.
Communication Officer
Salary: $22/hour
Company: ÉcoMaris
Why You Should Apply: This organization offers programs and services as the only school sailboat in Quebec that goes along the St. Lawrence. So with this 35 hours a week job, you can help market the unique offerings of ÉcoMaris.
Client Service Clerk
Salary: $16/Hour
Company: Nordegg Historic Golf Course
Why You Should Apply: The course is looking for someone to work 20 hours a week to help out golfers. Plus, every hole of this course offers an amazing view of Alberta's natural landscape.
Marketing Coordinator
Salary: $14/Hour
Company: Atlantic Division Canoe Kayak Canada
Why You Should Apply: Canoe Kayak Canada is the official national body for all competitive paddling in the country. In one of the two positions available, you'd be helping the Atlantic part of the organization in Nova Scotia to take its marketing to the next level for 35 hours a week.
