Are you looking for a seasonal job that pays well and offers you the opportunity to work for a highly reputable company? Amazon Toronto is hiring on seasonal employees to work at its Fulfillment centers at 7995 Winston Churchill Blvd., Brampton, ON, and 8050 Heritage Rd., Brampton, ON.

The job, which pays $15.75 an hour with a night shift premium of $16.25 and requires you be at least 18 years-old, is offering GTA residents a chance to join the Amazon team.

Those looking to apply for a Warehouse Team Member position should be aware that they will need to have flexible work hours and be able to work overtime as required.

It's also worth noting that the job is very physical, and you must be able to lift 49 pounds and walk up to 10-12 hours a day. However, if hard work is your strength, this might be the job for you. 

According to Glassdoor, workers also must be able to or willing to work on powered industrial trucks, such as a forklift or an order picker. You will also be operating a standard 40 hours per week, so you must keep your schedule open to maximize the amount of money you can make.

“You will be expected to have an understanding of all aspects of your role and to follow specific safety, quality, and production standards in order to meet customer demand.," reads a description on the website’s application guidelines.

“Understanding our building types will ensure you and our teams are set up for success so that we can continue to make history together,” it adds.


If you feel like you fit the bill, you should attend one of Amazon’s upcoming walk-in hiring events, which are taking place at 8050 Heritage Rd., Brampton, on November 9 to 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

No appoints are required, all you need to do is just show up with your resume and someone will interview you on the spot!
