One of the world's biggest companies is expanding in Ontario, and it's going on a hiring spree.

Thousands of full-time Amazon jobs in Ontario will soon be up for grabs as the company opens two new fulfillment centres, one in Hamilton and one in Ajax.

Full-time jobs will be available

The employees at these massive new hubs will benefit from competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits, the company states.

Hamilton's hub will be looking for staff to pick, pack and ship small items, like toys and electronics, while the Ajax hub will deal with bigger purchases, like furniture and bicycles.

The centres are slated to open in 2021.

Amazon has a range of job opportunities as well, some of which pay up to $228,000 a year.
