Aritzia Is Reopening In Canada & They'll Give You A Mask While You Shop
A bunch of stores are already open.
Our favourite stores are making a comeback after a hiatus. Aritzia is reopening across Canada and you can get back to Wilfred and Babaton soon. Stores will look different and have a ton of new safety measures in place to keep their staff and shoppers safe.
In a release shared with Narcity on Tuesday, May 19, the store said they're beginning to reopen their boutiques across the nation "thoughtfully, safely and on a case-by-case basis."
A bunch of their stores are already open and operating across Canada, according to their website.
To help keep everyone safe, they've made some huge changes to their policies. For example, every one of their team members will be provided masks. Shoppers will be offered a mask too if they like.
They're also regularly sanitizing surfaces, as well as their products and fitting rooms after every use. Hand sanitizer will be made available to customers, and boutiques will even have a nurse on duty 24/7, according to their website.
To help customers distance from others, their stores will let fewer people in at a time and there'll be guide markers to help them stand two metres apart.
You can also expect to find fewer people in the changing rooms as they're limiting the number of people allowed in at once, they wrote.
Narcity reached Aritzia for comment and this article will be updated.
As of Tuesday, May 19, eight stores are already open across Canada. In Calgary, Alberta, these are TNA Chinook, Market Mall, and Wilfred Chinook Centre. Their Edmonton location at Southgate Centre Mall is also open.
There are three spots open in the Vancouver area: TNA South Granville, Robson Street, and West Vancouver's Park Royal location.
Finally, the location at Polo Park Shopping Centre in Winnipeg is also open. Stores in Ontario remain closed for now.
You can find their new hours and more details on their website.
Aritzia closed their physical store doors back in mid-March to help with social distancing, according to their Instagram, but that doesn't mean they've been staying out of the game. Their stores are still open to .
The store has also been supporting our health care heroes withthrough donations and more.
If you need to update your WFH look and you're tired of online shopping, then this reopening is just the good news you needed.
