A coyote in Maple Ridge, B.C. needed a helping hand to escape a tricky situation. On Tuesday, August 4, BC Conservation Officer Service announced that they found a coyote with its head stuck in a glass jar. They've posted a video depicting how they freed the B.C. coyote. CO's tranquilized the animal, removed the jar & poured water over its body to cool it down. The coyote recovered in the shade (with a water dish beside it). Then they poured water all over the coyote's body to help it cool down. The coyote recovered in a safe, cool spot as officers remained on the scene. They were there till the pup regained mobility. The conservation service told the public in the same post that they should wash out their jars properly before placing them outside for collection.
