One Lucky Person Can Win An Entire Festival Of Tulips In BC For A Day This Spring
All of the flowers and none of the people.
Spring is coming, flowers are blossoming, but the tulip fields are closed. Closed to everyone but one very lucky person, that is. An iconic festival is holding a giant Instagram contest this year and the lone winner of the B.C. tulip festival contest will get the whole field to themselves for just one day.
BLOOM Tulip Festival in Abbotsford, B.C. has been afor the last five years, but sadly they've had to shut their doors this year.
But that's not going to stop at least one flower fan from frolicking through their millions of flowers.
To enter the contest, simply like their Instagram post, follow @abbotsfordtulipfestival, or tag a friend you'd like to see win. You'll both get entries if you're chosen, they said.
According to their Instagram, the winner will be randomly chosen and will get a golden ticket DM on Friday, April 24. They and whoever they share a roof with can spend three hours of alone time with the flowers any day between Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1.
Winners can choose a three-hour window to frolic with flowers, either in the morning or evening. You'll also get to bring your own bucket to pick all the flowers you want. Normally, flowers go for a dollar each.
Just remember to apply before the deadline of Friday, April 24.

But while their doors are shut, the staff are still out to quench your tulip obsession. The festival said people can stilland get them delivered to your door. You can start up your own tulip field at home.
"Please remember that the Festival is not open this year due to Covid-19," they wrote on their Instagram post. "This prize is being given to make someone’s life brighter."
