Calgary has just recorded a massive spike in COVID-19 cases. As of Monday, August 31, there are 1,370 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta. On Monday, the province announced that 426 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed between Friday, August 28, and Sunday, August 30.
