It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and that means there are going to be countless cards and packages being mailed across Canada. Everyone wants to make sure that what they send arrives on time. Canada Post's Christmas deadlines are fast approaching, and there's not a lot of time to send things on time by regular mail.\nGift givers sending any packages within Canada by regular postage only have until December 11 to make sure their item is delivered on time. If a package is being shipped to the United States by standard mail, then today, December 10, is the last day to send it on time.\nFor Cards, Canadians can take a little more time to craft the perfect message, as the deadline for on-time delivery across provinces is December 18. Unfortunately for anyone mailing cards to the US, the on-time date has already passed.\nOf course, if you choose to ship by Canada Post and you want to pay a bit extra for delivery, you can ship Priority or Xpresspost by December 23 and 20, respectively. For the US, those dates are December 19 and 13, respectively.\nThere are always options for package delivery outside of Canada Post, however, and FedEx Canada, as well as Purolator, have also released their holiday send-by dates.\nDon’t forget to mail your letters to Santa by December 12 so he can get them back to you in time for Christmas! #LetterstoSanta https://t.co/lCaeOayS7f pic.twitter.com/wXIdnqjzLo— Canada Post (@canadapostcorp) December 5, 2019\nIf you're shipping a package in Canada using FedEx Ground service, then you have until the end of the week, Friday the 13th, to get your item delivered before Christmas. The same goes for shipping from Canada to the US.\nYou can also use FedEx Economy or 2Day shipping to send your package in Canada by December 19 or 20, respectively.\nOver the past week we’ve had teams of FedEx elves coming out to help sort and wrap gifts in support of @HolidayHelpers2. Thanks to all our volunteers who are helping families in the GTHA enjoy the holiday season. #FedExCares pic.twitter.com/D9f8ZOHq5A— FedEx Canada (@FedExCanada) December 6, 2019\nFor those who need until the very last minute to find the right gift, FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, and FedEx Standard Overnight can deliver packages in Canada on time as late as December 23.\nPurolator's next-day delivery lets Canadians send packages within Canada and the US as late as December 21.\nOther brands in Canada have also released their own holiday delivery deadlines, so make sure to check those as well.\nThere are stories everywhere.
