Growing up in the 90's and early 2000's, Reena Virk's tragic story was told throughout schools as a cautionary tale against bullying.

Reena Virk was murdered when she was only 14-years-old. She was beaten and drowned to death by several teenagers in 1997. Her body was found eight days later. Kelly Ellard and Warren Glowatski were both found guilty of second-degree murder in the killing.

Since 1997, Reena Virk's story has been used countless times to warn young students about the seriousness of bullying. The killing remains one of B.C's most notorious murders.
