Ever wanted to send a sweet message to a stranger during the holiday season? Well now is your chance because Canadian Forces members want to receive them. 

Canadian forces stationed in the U.S., took to Twitter to ask the general public to spread the love this Christmas by sending them holiday greetings, via mail. 

According to them, many Canadians who are deployed around the world will not be celebrating and spending the holidays with their families.

It really would mean a lot to them.

"Dear friends, Many of us will spend the holidays with our families. Many of us will not. It would mean a great deal to us if you sent them a greeting," the tweet read.

If you or someone you know wants to ship some good wishes this can be done by sending it to PO Box 5004 Stn Forces Belleville, ON K8N 5W6.

According to them, you can specify a specific mission or region and postage to Canada is required. 

"It really would mean a lot to them," the force also said.
