Alberta Just Announced COVID-19 Cases In 21 Schools Across The Province
That includes three outbreaks. 😳
On Thursday, September 10, Dr. Deena Hinshaw updated the public on the number of COVID-19 cases in Alberta schools.
She said in the press conference that a total of 24 cases have been recorded in schools since back-to-school kicked off on September 1. The number includes three outbreaks of COVID-19 at schools, which means two or more cases have been confirmed in one school.
There's no evidence of transmission within the school at any of these outbreaks.

The schools with outbreaks are Henry Wise Wood High School and St. Wilfred Elementary in Calgary, and Chinook High School in Lethbridge.
A total of 21 schools have recorded COVID-19 cases as of September 10.
The province has also launched a map that is supposed to list the outbreaks by the school but none of the three outbreaks have been listed at the time of writing.
