A rural county is facing a small surge in cases after a COVID-19 outbreak at Zehr's Country Market, a local grocery chain in Ontario.

CTV News reports that the outbreak is connected to two store locations in Bayfield and Dashwood, of Huron County.

However, all 22 of these cases are in Bluewater and South Huron County, says Huron Perth Public Health.

Health authorities say that so far, this workplace outbreak has mostly involved clusters within households.

However, "these cases are also connected to a larger spread of cases across southwestern Ontario," reads their statement.

After a steady decline, the province reported an uptick in new cases this week.

Tuesday's total was 125, the bulk of them in the GTA and Windsor.
