Step aside, Netflix, Disney Plus Canada is about to arrive. The Walt Disney Company’s newest streaming service will make its North American debut this November. Disney announced on Monday that it will officially be launching the service in Canada, the U.S. and the Netherlands on Nov. 12, 2019.\nAnd when you sign up, you can a Disney+ Canada trial free for the first 7 days!\nCanadians are sure to love Disney Plus not only for its programming variety, but also because it's cheap - like cheaper than Netflix cheap. According to CBC, Canadian residents will only need to pay $8.99 a month or $89.99 per year to gain complete access to the service’s shows and movies. By comparison, Netflix Canada's basic plan is $9.99 a month.\nThe films and TV series on Disney Plus include Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars productions. A number of highly anticipated shows are already being produced for the streaming service, including Marvel spin-offs "Loki", "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier", "WandaVision", "What If" and "Hawkeye". The company has already locked down distribution deals with Apple, Microsoft, Google, Roku, and Sony.\nDisney recently severed its ties with Netflix and has already begun pulling content from the service in preparation of the launch of its own streaming service.
