Drake Reveals He Cancelled His Most Recent Shows In Miami Due To Serious Illness
Drake cancelled his Miami concerts because he's been very sick.
Fans have had mixed feelings about Drake recently and here's why. Drake is currently on tour with Migos as part of their "Aubrey and The Three Migos" tour. As you can guess, Migos alongside Drake is a recipe for an amazing show. However, fans have been disappointed again and again after the rappers continue to cancel shows on their tour.
It's no secret that Drake skipped out on multiple shows during the Canadian leg of his tour. Fans were up in arms with the Canadian rapper afterin Toronto at the very last minute.
It was only a few months ago that Migos were set to perform at Vancouver's first Breakout Festival when suddenly,20 minutes before they were set to take the stage. Shortly after, they were scheduled to perform at Montreal's famous outdoor venue, BeachClub, but as expected, again. Drake and Migos haven't had a great track record with performing their scheduled shows this past summer.
Now, Drake has cancelled his most recent shows in Miami, Florida but it's not due to "production problems" or "scheduling errors". It seems like the reason why is more serious.
Drake was scheduled to perform in Miami on Friday and Saturday evening. He cancelled those two concerts at American Airlines Arena and now we know why. He posted this photo on Instagram ten hours ago explaining why he couldn't make it.
In the Instagram post, he wrote, "I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows. I got so ill so fast and I had never experienced anything like that in my life. Unlike other show cancellations or date adjustments due to production issues this one fell on me and I just wanted to apologize because I hate letting down anyone who come to share these moments with us."
It sounds like Drake was seriously ill and that's why he couldn't make it to the show. He explains in the second part of the post that he's been so ill that he's been in the care of two doctors and a nurse around the clock.
He continued, "Thank you to the two doctors and nurse that helped me with round the clock care. Miami deserves 100 percent and I promise that experience when we return. Thank you god for allowing me to recover and continue on we go!"
It sounds like Drake has been really sick and that's why he couldn't perform in Miami. According to the rapper himself, he's now recovering and plans to perform in Miami when he's feeling 100% better.
