A deadly assault against a 13-year-old girl on Friday, October 2 has resulted in an Edmonton teen charged with murder.\nEdmonton police said in a release on Monday, October 5, that they have charged a "female youth" with second-degree murder in connection to an assault that resulted in the death of another teenager.\nThe family of 13-year-old Sierra Chalifoux-Thompson identified her as the victim. When officers arrived, they found Chalifoux-Thompson with serious injuries.
