Environment Canada Released Tropical Storm Chris Warning And Here's Which Provinces Will Be Affected
Tropical Storm Chris is expected to move north into Canada.
The dangerous weather conditions that are developing on the East Coast have been named "Tropical Storm Chris". The storm was formed off the coast of Carolina early this morning.
Environment Canada expects the storm to remain "somewhat stationary" for the next few days, but they expect that it could move into Canada during the week.
As of 8:01 AM Sunday, July 8th, Environment Canada has released a Tropical Cyclone warning that can affect a major portion of Canada.
The "Tropical Cyclone" statement has been issued for the following provinces.

New Brunswick: Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick

Prince Edward Island: Kings County, Queens County

By Tuesday, the storm is expected to move northeastward gaining strength at the same time. By late Tuesday or early Wednesday, the storm could reach hurricane status.
They've also stated that it could approach Nova Scotia by Thursday, and it will likely weaken as it reaches the province.
Even though they have an idea of what will happen with the storm, there is still a "good deal of uncertainty at this time in the forecast track and intensity of the system."
