As always, we have all the info you need.
I don’t know what one of you cast a spell to manifest this event, but thank you. According to the York-Durham Heritage Railway website, the wizarding world of Harry Potter is coming to Uxbridge this October.
This festival is going to bring to life all of the things you know and love about wizards. According to the website, this Wizards’ Festival will take place at the YDHR grounds for two days only.
That’s right, on Oct. 26, and 27 of this year, you can step into the world you always dreamed of. There will be amazing events including potion classes, shows, a maze, and workshops.
And that’s just to name a few. However, the best part is the train.
The Hallow Express is for premium ticket holders, so be sure to purchase the right ticket. This journey will take you to Goodwoodora Prison where two wizards are trying to hatch their escape plan.
It’s up to you and your fellow passengers to securely transport the evil sorcerers to a more secure location.
It honestly sounds epic, especially since costumes are a must. The website even says “no muggle attire.”
If you don’t want to do the train ride, no problem. Regular passes are available that will give you access to the grounds and all the fun events being held there.
Should you want to test out your wizarding skills, purchase the Wizards Festival Trip tickets for either Oct. 26 or 27. On both days, the train will depart from the Uxbridge station and be gone for an hour before returning.
General admission tickets are going for $24.99 whereas train tickets plus admission are going for $54.99.
Tickets are on sale now at the York-Durham Heritage Railway website. We suggest you get them now before they’re gone.
Now it’s time to start planning your costume.
