Instagram is under major fire today after users found that they mysteriously lost tons of followers on the app on Tuesday night. Users all over the world reported losing significant amounts of followers last night – some even lost as many as two million followers all at once. Famous makeup artist and YouTuber James Charles even spoke up on the issue and tweeted that he had lost over 500,000 followers. The company announced in a tweet earlier today that a bug was responsible for causing significant loss of followers for many, many users.\n"We’re aware of an issue that is causing a change in account follower numbers for some people right now," read the tweet.
