Instagram is under major fire today after users found that they mysteriously lost tons of followers on the app on Tuesday night. Users all over the world reported losing significant amounts of followers last night – some even lost as many as two million followers all at once. Instagram has now officially revealed why users lost millions of followers last night but it's been several hours and they have yet to fix the issue. Famous makeup artist and YouTuber James Charles even spoke up on the issue and tweeted that he had lost over 500,000 followers. "Why did I just lose over half a million followers @instagram wyd sis," he tweeted. The company announced in a tweet earlier today that a bug was responsible for causing significant loss of followers for many, many users. However, it's been over seven hours since they said they were fixing it but the issue still hasn't been resolved. People are starting to get impatient and are calling out Instagram on social media.
