One of the perils of doing live TV outside in the spring is bugs. The Prime Minister is learning that firsthand now. On May 21, there was an unwelcome guest at Trudeau's press conference.\nJustin Trudeau's podium space was invaded by a wasp and it got so close to his face he had to swat it away.\nAs soon as he got to the usual spot set up outside of Rideau Cottage, and started his daily address to Canadians, a wasp began buzzing around him.\nThat led to the prime minister swatting it away multiple times.\nIf you would've run away screaming the second a wasp got close to you, you're not very similar to the Prime Minister.\nHe was very calm, cool and collected.\nOnly a minute into his press conference, the buzzer approached Trudeau's face and he swatted it away without even blinking or losing his place in his speech.\nHowever, it was the second time around that the wasp got really close.\nAbout 10 minutes later, it was back again.\nThe wasp buzzed around Trudeau for a little bit before it got gusty and almost landed on his eye.\nWhile still listening to a reporter's question, he flinched back and swatted the wasp twice before it flew away.\nThis isn't the first time a wasp has gone rogue during one of the PM's press conferences.\nIt also made an appearance on May 19.\nThe wasp buzzed around Trudeau for a while, landed on the microphone and flew away.\nBut then it came back and landed on the mic again before walking on it and then flying away again.\nThe man didn't even flinch.\nWith spring well underway, maybe this wasp will become a permanent fixture in the Prime Minister's daily addresses.\nYeah, so *this* happened! LOLPosted by Jason Hanson on Sunday, April 19, 2020\nWhile the Liberal leader has used his press conferences to make announcements regarding COVID-19, there have been lots of lighthearted and funny moments.\nHe famously warned Canadians against "speaking moistly" back in April, which took Canada by storm. A brewery even made a beer about the moment.\nHe has shouted out people making sourdough at home and had to run back inside Rideau Cottage to get a coat because it was colder than he expected one day.\nTrudeau's hair flip during one of his talks has also gone viral.
