Last week, police in B.C. arrested a woman who reportedly plowed her car through several parked cars while attempting to evade officers. The dramatic escape was caught on camera by a person at the scene. The Kamloops car chase video is getting a lot of attention after it was posted on Facebook.\nOn Friday, December 6, Kamloops RCMP discovered an SUV that was recently stolen from Surrey. According to CTV News, plainclothes officers were trying to arrest the woman driving the stolen vehicle.\nIt's clear from the footage that the woman behind the wheel was desperate to get away. So desperate that she practically totalled the car in the process. RCMP called it a "daring escape."\nIn the video, the driver plows the SUV through multiple parked vehicles. The incident took place in the Mr. Lube parking lot at 288 Tranquille Road.\nTravis Jabs, who posted the video, was getting gas at the time. “So this happened while I was getting fuel Bahahaha,” wrote Jabs.\nAs of Monday afternoon, the video has been shared over 1,600 times and has 1,000 comments. Many comments seem to express the same sentiment that Jabs did in the video — "WTF?"\nIn the video, a cop punched the windows of the SUV while the driver smashes into several parked cars. As she backs out, it's clear that she practically took the entire front bumper off in the process.\nAfter hitting a few more cars, she speeds out of the Mr. Lube parking lot, leaving everyone at the scene totally baffled.\nAccording to CTV News, Kamloops RCMP later found the automobile in a Canadian Tire parking lot. The woman reportedly fled on foot. The woman was arrested in Chilliwack that same Friday and has since been identified as Kersten Ina Peters.\nShe appeared in court the following Saturday and was charged with the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, willfully resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of stolen property, and failure to stop.\nKamloops RCMP told CTV News that this was the second incident of a stolen vehicle that Friday.\nAlso this year, a teen in New Brunswick actually filmed himself being chased by RCMP.
