After issuing recalls in Ontario, Quebec, and provinces in Atlantic Canada early this month, the chip company is now warning people in Saskatchewn, Alberta, and Manitoba that their chip bags could have tiny pieces of glass in them. This time, the only flavour to avoid is the original ones. Unlike the first batch, where it was reported someone had suffered a dental injury due to the chips, there haven't been any consumer complaints this time around. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency also noted that consumers should not eat these chips and businesses should not sell them. They said that individuals should check to see if they have the affected snacks in their pantries and to throw them away or return them to the location it was purchsed at. Miss Vickie's said they are working closely with CFIA in handling the matter.
