According to the Weather Network, southern parts of the province are in for some wetness, facing fast-paced thunderstorms, rains, and strong winds today.
Areas near Cornwall can even expect to see up to 40 millimetres or rain throughout the day.
On Thursday, the north will see temperatures drop down to single digits, bringing snowfall to areas like Thunder Bay.
A few early flakes of snow won't be the only weather event to spark conversation.
Whipping 70 kilometres an hour winds also bring an elevated risk for waterspouts on Lake Huron and Erie.
"Though impressive and ominous to look at from the shore, they are largely harmless, though occasionally one will come onto land as a weak landspout tornado, The TWN reports.
