At least one person has tested positive for the illness. 🤒
If you’ve bought your booze in Trainyards recently, you should monitor yourself for COVID-19 symptoms. An Ottawa LCBO has temporarily closed after a staff member tested positive for the illness and other cases were later reported.
In a statement on September 13, the company confirmed that Ottawa's Trainyards LCBO (665 Industrial Avenue) would be closed for a while, due to a possible COVID-19 outbreak.
Due to the potential of an outbreak at this location, the store is closed until further notice.
In the notice, the company explained that a staff member had tested positive for the disease. Since then, additional cases have been reported.
While few details have been given about whether the additional cases are staff or customers, the LCBO reassures Ottawans that more information will be provided upon public health direction.
The employee last worked on September 5.
