Get Hyped: Ottawa's Getting A Sky Lounge Next Summer
Dine in the sky.
As if Ottawa 2017 wasn't already going to be lit AF. Imagine dining 150 feet in the air with 360 degree panoramic views of the nation's capital. Next July you'll be able to do just that.
Ottawa's Sky Lounge will take Ottawa diners up in the air (literally) with a one-of-a-kind culinary or cocktail experience. You'll be hoisted 150 feet in the air and fine dining -- at the same time. One of the best parts? The City of Ottawa has teamed up with Andaz to provide the food (that's the new hotel in the Byward Market with the breathtaking rooftop view of the city). The rooftop lounge wasn't enough for the Andaz and they're taking it to the next level now. Imagine being able to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary dinner in the sky?
Ottawa foodies will be able to enjoy the experience from July 14 to July 20 next year. But don't let that distant date make you hold off from buying tickets.
Tickets will start going on sale this Friday, Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Only 22 people will be able to be hoisted up at a time at the Sky Lounge, so spots are limited for the week-long experience.
Two types of tickets will be sold. Tickets for the Sky Lounge Cocktail Experience will be $150 (plus taxes and service charges). This will include gourmet appetizers, an aperitif and wine and cheese up in the sky. The Sky Lounge Gourmet Dinner Experience will be $250 Two types of tickets will be sold.
