Ottawa Is Reporting The Highest Number Of New COVID-19 Cases Since Early May

Another concerning spike has been recorded in O-Town. Ottawa’s COVID-19 cases have climbed yet again, and the city has just reported its biggest daily increase since May 3.
On Monday, September 14, Ottawa Public Health reported 61 new cases of COVID-19 in the city.
It’s a significant jump from the 47 new cases reported on Sunday, and 27 new cases on Saturday.

Tweeting about the latest update on Monday, Ottawa's Mayor described the uptick as "concerning" and urged locals to continue to follow public health advice.
Ottawa Public Health also tweeted about the rise, writing, "So, our case numbers...they aren't good. If you haven't taken this seriously yet, now's a good time to start."
This comes as cases continue to rise across Ontario, with regions like Toronto and Peel also reporting significant figures.
