An Ottawa Diner Was Tipped $1500 On A $65 Tab & The Owner Got 'Goosebumps'
The customer was a regular who was just happy to be back!

An Ottawa diner received a massive dose of generosity on July 13 in the form of a huge donation and it's left its owner and all the staff in absolute shock.
Staff at the Wellington Diner were surprised to find a generous tip of $500 made by card, as well as a cash bonus of $1000, left by regulars on Monday after they got the bill for their meal.
$1564.70
The amount one generous customer left when paying a $64.70 bill.
"I had goosebumps all over my body; I had butterflies in my stomach. I almost felt like crying because I just connected with somebody on a level that you rarely get to do," said owner Jeff Frost.
According to a tweet posted by the restaurant on Monday, the $1000 cash and $500 tip will be shared between diner staff who have worked so hard to keep the business going during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The customer that left the nice tip wishes to be left anonymous. It seems that making the day — even the year, perhaps — of a whole diner staff was credit enough.
