With thousands of students living and commuting to campuses across Ontario every single day, it's important for students to feel safe on school grounds. However, a new survey that was conducted by the Ontario Government suggests that students aren't feeling as safe as they should be while attending classes on campuses in Ontario. In fact, the government survey shows that over 60% of Ontario students have been sexually harassed on campus. 160,000 students across Ontario were involved in this study and the results are frightening. With 63% of students claiming that they have been sexually harassed on campus at least once during their university career, it shows that more needs to be done in order to deal with this ongoing problem.
