York Regional Police are asking for the public to help identify a male suspect in a disturbing sexual assault that was caught on camera. 

A woman in Aurora, Ontario was mowing her lawn over the weekend when a man came up behind her, pulled down his pants and grabbed her. The entire incident was caught on camera. 

The York Regional Police (YRP) uploaded the video to their official Youtube channel today, pleading for the public to help them identify the suspect. They are also asking for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to come forward. 

According to the video's description, the assault took place around 3:30 PM on Saturday, August 11. The incident happened on Stone Road in the Ontario town of Aurora, near an elementary school. The suspect is described as a white male with short, sandy brown hair, with a medium build. 

After the suspect attempted to grab her, the victim, who was identified by police as a 47-year-old woman, turned around and confronted him, then proceeded to run away. 

Aurora is a small town about an hour north of Toronto. It is part of York Region, which was ranked among the safest places to live based on recent crime statistics.
