Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018, Kensington Palace has announced. The couple, who confirmed their engagement last month, earlier confirmed that the ceremony would take place at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. The Royal Family will pay for the wedding, including the service, reception, music and flowers. The chosen day will clash with another big event - the FA Cup final at Wembley, which Prince William usually attends in his role as FA president and presents the trophy. But it seems that William, who is tipped to be Harry's best man, will likely be engaged with wedding duties. His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May 2018. The date has also been chosen to allow enough time for Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, to recover from the birth of her third child, who is due in April. Prince George and Princess Charlotte look set take on the roles of pageboy and bridesmaid. Markle, a Protestant, will be baptised into the Church of England and confirmed before the wedding. She will also take British citizenship after the couple are wed. On Wednesday, Kensington Palace confirmed the couple will be spending Christmas together with the Queen, a tradition not normally reserved for unmarried partners of the Royal Family. Markle, who is best known for her role in Suits, will join the Queen at Sandrigham, Her Majesty's private estate in Norfolk, on Christmas Day.
