Snowmaggedon Is Expected To Hit Regina On December 31
It wouldn't be a Saskatchewan winter without a massive snowstorm that tries to ruin all the fun. This year, Mother Nature has decided to be extra salty and send us a 2016 parting gift in the form of snow, snow, and more snow. I don't know what it is with her and winter but for some reason, she always has to take it out on us.
The worst part about it is that the snow is scheduled to start rolling in right before you head out the door to ring in the new year. In other words, there's going to be an 80% chance that you're going to be forced to celebrate new years in the confines of your living room or you're gonna have to wear long johns underneath your formal attire as a way to brave the cold.
We all know that New Years comes with a side of FOMO so if you are determined to get out and celebrate then take a few extra precautions by choosing alternative means of transportation, finding a snow buddy and putting on those damn long johns.
Stay safe and cozy my friends. Happy New Year!
