The album received rave reviews and reignited the band’s popularity. The band had stepped out of the spotlight in recent years, partially due to lead singer Deryck Whibley’s struggle with alcoholism, as well as the departure of the band's long-time drummer Steve Jocz. The Offspring are currently working on their first new album since Days Go By in 2012. The album’s release date has yet to be announced, but according to singer Dexter Holland, “it sounds like our old shit!” “I don’t really know how to describe it. I guess it’s punk rock, but then we throw in a couple of songs that aren’t what you’d normally predict,” Holland told Kerrang back in May. Anyone missing those early 2000’s vibes should definitely make it out to this epic Canadian tour! Tickets go on sale Aug. 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
