These Canadian Business Universities Were Just Ranked The Best In The World
Western University was the highest ranked Canadian business school.
Bloomberg just came out with their 2018 ranking of the world's best business schools. They asked over 25,000 alumni, students, and recruiters about their experiences with different business schools to determine the best of the best.
From the results, they were able to score and rank each business school and came up with a list of almost 125 of the World's Best Business Schools. Surprisingly not, one or two but seven Canadian universities made the list this year. Of those seven, four of them cracked the top 100.
Out of the seven business schools to make the list, the highest ranked was Western University coming in 56th. Queen's University was only ten spots behind them in 66th. Rounding out the Canadian schools to crack the top 100 were also McGill University in 87th and Concordia in 95th place.
The other three schools on the list were the University of Alberta which was in 103rd, Ryerson in 115th, and HEC Montreal which came in 119th.
For seven schools to land a spot among the best business schools in the world is pretty impressive. What's even more impressive is that almost all of the schools were in Ontario and Quebec, except for one!
Unsurprisingly, most of the world's top business schools are in the United States. In fact, almost all of the top 10 schools on the list, except for the 10th one are in the US.
The top business school according to Bloomberg is Standford University in California. Pennsylvania University came in second place, with Harvard coming in third.
