The Humane Society in London, Ontario is reaching out to the public after someone dropped off 88 cats.\nAccording to a statement from the Humane Society of London Middlesex's (HSLM) statement, the owner decided to forfeit the cats on Tuesday after becoming "overwhelmed" with the number of cats and calling the situation "unmanageable."\nYou think?All 88 of the cats were kept in one home with access to "exterior retrofitted shelters."\nEditor's Choice: Video Of Toronto Salmon Flying Through Air In Slo-Mo Is A Must-See\n\n\n“\n\n\nThe owner surrendered the animals after the number of cats became overwhelming and unmanageable. \n\n\nLondon & Middlesex Humane Society\n\n\n\nIt took two rented trucks to shuttle the cats from the owner's home to the shelter, supported by 39 staff and volunteers.\nThe cats varied in age and health and now need to receive proper treatment, such as vaccinations and spaying.\nTo accommodate all the cat's health needs, HSLM is asking for donations, which you can make here.\nHSLM wants its region's residents to know that there is no shame involved with leaving an animal with them.\n"Surrendering animals is never an easy decision," they say in their statement, "HSLM is a judgment-free facility that serves the community and aids in the wellbeing of all animals in our service territory."\n* Photos for illustration purposes only.
