Clean up in aisle...window?  For the second time in less than a week, a car has crashed through the window of a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Toronto. The Shoppers Drug Mart retail location at Lawrence Avenue West and Avenue Road was the second in the city to experience a vehicle crash into its storefront in a span of 7 days.

Last night, a vehicle plowed through the window of a Shoppers Drug Mart store in the Lawrence Avenue West and Avenue Road area at approximately 9:00 PM.

According to Toronto police, the car had been involved in a collision with two other vehicles just before it crashed through the Shoppers Drug Mart storefront window.

The people inside the car at the time were injured by the crash, but their conditions are currently classified as non-life threatening.  It remains unclear why or how the driver crashed into the Shoppers Drug Mart.

Just last week, a similar situation occurred in the Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue East area.  On Thursday, March 7th, a car crashed through a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Toronto's east end.

Thankfully, the vehicle's occupants did not sustain any major injuries as a result of the collision, nor did anyone inside the store.
