Centennial College Is Putting Free Feminine Hygiene Products In Both Men And Women's Washrooms
Every woman would agree that paying for things like pads and tampons sucks. You really do absolutely NEED them and they aren’t exactly cheap. Especially when you’re a student and have massive amounts of debt to worry about on top of everything else.
But there’s good news if you attend, or plan on attending Ontario's Centennial College, because they’re going to make feminine hygiene products 100% free to all students.
Yes, that’s right you won’t need to pay a dime to get your hands on your any feminine hygiene products at this school.
So what school is this? Centennial College.
The school is currently in the process of converting the hygiene dispensers in its washrooms currently so that students will no longer need to pay to get the products inside.
Right now the school is doing this for the woman’s washrooms but also plans on installing these dispensers in the men’s washroom as well.
This is mean to create a more inclusive environment at the school when it comes to accessing feminine hygiene products.
According to the school almost 90% of students at the school are on some kind of assistance program to pay for school so the school wants to do all it can to make sure that no one has to spend tons of money on things that they need in the washroom.
So if you’re a student at Centennial College right now then this is great news for you.
It’s one less thing you’ll need to worry about for your monthly expenses now.
