More employees have apparently tested positive at Toronto's shopping centres.

Two COVID-19 cases at Yorkdale and Fairview Mall have been confirmed, according to CP24.

The outlet reports that Sephora at Fairview and MAC Comestics at Yorkdale were closed down for cleaning on Monday.

The client and [Cadillac Fairview] have taken necessary actions as advised by public health.

One employee tested positive for the disease at each store.

An internal letter shared online appeared to confirm that the MAC Comestics worker last visited the store on September 14, and is now self-isolating.

Weeks ago, Yorkdale's Foot Locker store was briefly shut down for cleaning after a confirmed case was reported.

An infection was also confirmed at Uniqlo in Toronto's Eaton Centre earlier this month.
