For the first time in months, the Minister of Health is reporting over 300 new COVID-19 cases in Ontario today.

Minister Christine Elliott announced the news at 10:15 a.m. on Monday morning.

The regions with the most cases are Toronto with 112, Peel with 71, and Ottawa with 60.

All other public health units — except York, with 13 — have less than ten new cases, and fifteen units have no new cases at all, says Minister Elliott.

She also says that 67% of today's new cases are among people under the age of forty.

It is the first time since early June that the province has seen a daily increase of over 300, reports CityNews.
