You'll Need An Appointment To Get A COVID-19 Test In Ontario Starting Next Week
Walk-ins will stop on October 4.
Doug Ford has announced that you will now need an appointment to get aassessment centres.
In a Friday press conference, the premier revealed that the rules will be implemented starting October 6.
The premier also mentioned that starting October 4, testing centres will no longer be accepting walk-ins.
Starting Tuesday, October 6, all assessment centres will be moving to appointment-based testing only.

The changes are being made in order to grant patients more certainty when it comes to their testing process, according to a news release.
"As weather begins to worsen, we can’t have people waiting in the cold, waiting in the rain and snow to get a test," said Ford.
The move comesresulted in across the province.
Ford also brought in the option tofor those who have no symptoms.
