On Monday, 14-year-old Devan Selvey was walking to his mother's car when he was murdered outside of his Hamilton high school. Since the horrific murder, four suspects have been arrested and two have already been charged with first-degree murder. Now, over $78,000 has been raised for Selvey's funeral, which is set to be held on Saturday.\nSelvey was walking to his mother's car at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday when he was stabbed in the back of the head. According to Selvey's mother, his murder had been a direct result of bullying that the boy had been dealing with throughout the school year.\nWhile police have not commented on whether bullying is a factor of the 14-year-olds death, they do believe that there was some "pre-planning" that went into the murder.\nSince Monday, four suspects have been arrested in connection to the homicide. A 14-year old and 18-year-old, both males, were charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday.\nSince the horrific incident, Selvey's sister Karissa has set up a GoFundMe page which has reached over 1,900 donations amounting to over $78,000 since early Thursday afternoon.\nThe page, which is titled "Devan's Send Off" features an emotional tribute from Karissa Selvey about her brother.\nKarissa Selvey | GoFundMe\nAccording to the page, she states, "My brother was murdered. He was a great kid; shy, quiet and always helped his family and friends. He wanted to become a mechanic, he loved cars."\nThe post went on to state, "He was my best friend and I don't know how to live without him. Devan tried to get help with the bullying he was experiencing. He was our world!"\nThe page has been set up to help the family pay for the funeral expenses for the ceremony that will take place on Saturday.\nToday I sat with a grieving family as they remembered their teen son.
