The Toronto Star and Campaign Research polled 1,001 Ontarians, 76% of whom said they "somewhat" or "strongly" opposed Skelly's defiance of public health orders.
Almost two-thirds of respondents (64%) said they "strongly oppose" the restaurant owner's decision in the poll, which was conducted between December 1 and December 3.

Only 5% of people said they were unsure whether they supported the decision or not.
