Toronto drivers should be wary this morning as poor weather conditions are sure to make your morning commute difficult. Environment Canada issued a fog advisory around 7:00 AM Monday morning, warning residents of the GTA that they could experience “near zero visibility” as a dense fog moves into the area.

Although the fog is expected to dissipate as the day goes on, morning commuters will still need to be careful. According to the latest reports, travel is expected to hazardous and drivers should exercise a higher degree of caution than normal to ensure that they arrive at their destination safely.

According to Environment Canada, a fog advisory is only put into effect when visibility is drastically reduced to the point of near zero, which is exactly the conditions drivers should expect to see this morning.

It is uncertain exactly what time the fog will begin to dissipate this morning, but visibility is expected to improve sometime before noon.
