A young woman has been charged and arrested after stabbing four people on a Brampton bus last night. The stabbing happened at around 9:15 PM, in the Queen St. and McVean Dr. area.

Police have identified the suspect as 20-year-old Jade Nelson. Police allege that Nelson started stabbing people almost as soon as she boarded the bus. Police arrested her at the scene.

The four injured passengers were immediately transported to the hospital, one of which had to be taken to the trauma centre. All four victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe that the violent attack was completely random. Witnesses say that Nelson was stabbing the victims, as opposed to slashing them with the weapon.
