If a day of commuting has you scared to check your bank balance, then we've got good news for you. Travelling in and out of Toronto on the weekends just got cheaper, so you can officially start making travel plans without blowing the budget. A transit promotion is returning next month, and it makes travelling on Sundays less expensive. GO Transit's Sunday Funday service lets you take unlimited rides for $10.

No matter where you're headed, you'll only be charged $10 on Sundays with this discount.

GO Transit first launched its Sunday Funday promotion on December 1, 2019. The project ended February 9, but it was just announced that it will be returning next month.

Metrolinx Senior Media Manager, Anne Marie Aikins, revealed that the Sunday Funday pilot project will be back on March 1, 2020.

This means you can take advantage of the cheap rides for even longer, so start planning those Sunday adventures.

In order to participate in the deal, you need to go to the company's website and select "Sunday Funday" under "Passes."

Press on the "multiple rides" option, and then continue to payment. You'll receive your pass in an email.

Passengers aged 13 and older are eligible for the pass, as children 12 and under ride for free.

While the deal may not make sense for short trips, it's great if you are travelling long distances or making round trips.

GO Transit recently dropped prices on some routes, allowing passengers to travel between Kennedy and Union for just $3.70.

While Via Rail has recently suspended service, GO Transit is still a viable option when needing to get around. It was confirmed that all GO Transit and Up Express services will continue to run.

Get ready to travel for less starting in March with this unlimited pass.
