Start your engines, art fans! The Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit just announced that it will be opening its doors this June, but there's a catch. You will have to stay inside your car to see Van Gogh's beautiful pieces come to life with the world's first drive-in art exhibit.

According to the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit's website, the show must go on!

While many events have been cancelled throughout the summer during the pandemic, the exhibit is now using the vast space of their 600,000 cubic feet warehouse to their advantage.

Visitors will be able to safely view the exhibit from inside their car starting in June. Timed tickets are still available for purchase.

"We have been working around the clock to come up with innovative approaches that will make presenting Immersive Van Gogh safe for our audiences," says their website.

The exhibit will now have extended dates to make up for the May dates that have been missed, states their update online.

May timed ticket holders will receive emails about alternative dates and times that they can visit the warehouse, while those who have times tickets for June will still be able to use them.

Those with anytime tickets also do not need to make any changes as these will be accepted in the extended dates in August and September.

The team expressed their sadness that the vast majority of Toronto's cultural activities have been forced to close.

However, this art show is happy to announce that they will still be able to make visitors happy during these uncertain times.

The Van Gogh Exhibit has confirmed that they will be adhering to rules placed by Toronto Public Health on the matter. They have changed their capacity to 132 people at a time.

There is also plenty of time and space to view the show. The team has added over 600 additional time slots to view the exhibit throughout July, August and September.

More info on the drive-in "Gogh By Car" initiative will be announced on May 13.

The event has been highly anticipated ever since it was announced back in February. Tickets went on sale in March, and it looks like the show is going on.
